Why should I buy the workbook?
The workbook is a standup, easel style so you can set it up in your treatment room for reminders of what strokes you wanted to use. It gives you an additional tool that you can use where a DVD is not available.
What is the difference between the Deep Tissue DVD and the Sports DVD?
The Deep Tissue DVD addresses the proper body mechanics and indications/contraindications for Deep Tissue Massage. It is demonstrated how to get deeper into tight muscles in a safe way.
The Sports Massage DVD emphasizes stretches and ways to work on an athlete clothed.
Why can't I hear?
The DVD is designed to have no sound during the looping video portions. If you click on any of the looping video clips it will take you to video footage of the technique with sound.
Why does the DVD pause when going to a new routine?
This is the way of the new technology.
Why Perpetual Play™?
Perpetual Play™ gives a looping video clip of the techniques giving the viewer an easier method for learning.
What is the length of the DVD?
Because of the Perpetual Play there is no real length to these DVDs. It depends on how long each screen is played. They are not designed to play straight through.
How long will it take to get my order?
We ask that you allow 7 – 10 business days.
Does Dr. Mally teach near me?
Dr. Mally teaches in several places in the US and Canada. Please refer to http://www.healingartsinstitute.com then click on class (on the left hand column) then choose Workshops by Dr. Mally from the drop down menu.

Why does it cost so much?
It is comparable to others currently on the market with similar teaching.
Will the DVD play in another country?
It should as it is coded for all countries.
What can I do if it doesn't work for me?
1) Clean the DVD with a soft cloth
2) Clean the DVD player
3) If the above doesn't work call the company that you purchased the DVD from.

Do I need to have strong hands to be a massage therapist?
No. The way we teach massage emphasizes using different parts of your hands with different strokes so that your hands will not get tired. Proper body mechanics are emphasized so that you will be using your body weight more than your hand strength. The body mechanics you learn will be helpful in many other activities. You will be able to work without tiring yourself.
What opportunities exist for massage therapists?
The possibilities for practicing massage are limited only by your imagination. As a massage therapist you may work in chiropractic offices, physical therapy clinics, health spas or beauty salons. To minimize overhead, you may prefer to work out of your home, do housecalls with a portable massage table, or on site massage at businesses with a massage chair. You may choose to work part time, using your practice to supplement income from a full time job, or to help yourself through college. It is also possible to open your own office.
